I was curious and excited, but my Dell XPS 15 kept on saying (via the Dell site) to only support maximum of 8 GB (2- 4 GB modules). I kept reading only of people saying it would work.. and I am happy to say it does. I had 6 GB (1 2GB module and 1 4GB Module). I replaced the 2 GB module with this Corsair 8 GB module and everything works perfectly. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and it correctly recognizes 12 GB of memory.Installing it was a breeze and it everything booted perfectly. The real great feature (for me) is to open some really big files and know I have plenty of memory left (ie Premier or Photoshop). If you want more more memory, I would recommend this memory. Also, if you did not believe that the 8 GB modules were compatible with the XPs 15 i7 Core (2nd Generation)...well they are.. just remember to flash your BIOS to the current version...
